Job Description

• The work in this organisation is focused around project requirements analysis, documentation and functional/technical application design. This is a project oriented environment wherein the business analyst may also be given varying levels of project management responsibility.
  
  Other areas of responsibility might include:
  
• Translating internal client requirements into well formatted specifications for the IT development teams. Facilitation/collaboration with business domain experts and IT colleagues to ensure that appropriate requirements are delivered and managed efficiently.
  
• There are a number of projects now getting underway, each requiring business analysis expertise with significant levels of ability/knowledge of trading and order management applications and business domain experience.

Desired Profile

• Familiarity with banking and if possible with trading and order management systems
• Sound knowledge of front to back trade life-cycle processes
• Understanding of portfolio accounting, foreign exchange and trade reconciliation systems beneficial
• Previous experience with object oriented application development and SDLC would be very helpful. Any experience with databases and query writing in SQL appreciated
  
• Familiarity with enterprise computing environment and tools
• Good communication in English and illustration skills (Visio) are a must

Database Administrators

Working in a various sophisticated and globally interconnected application engineering environments, you work will be focused on database administration work dependent upon your specific area of product knowledge, experience and level of skill:

Desired Profile

• Relevant computer science education and several years of on the job experience as an Oracle, Sybase or MSSQLSRV DBA
• Previous experience working in financial services environments would be very helpful
• Expertise with Unix/Windows technologies, command-line, db- and scripting languages are assumed
• Practical experience with Solaris and Oracle will be very beneficial
• English language skills are essential, German also quite helpful

Senior C# Software Engineer - Long-Term Contract

Job Description

Working in a fast-paced global securities trading environment, you will be involved in the design and development of strategic trading platform technologies including trade capture and lifecycle management, books and records management, reporting, settlement and decision support solutions. There are a lot of challenges here e.g.: effective utilisation of the technologies, liaison with business stakeholders, requirements management as well as active influencing of other teams, whose input is also required.

Desired Profile

• Several years of professional software development experience with at minimum 1 year of C# development in a comparable/relevant environment
• Any previous experience in banking/financial services would be an advantage. Any background in front-office solutions would be a big advantage
• Any experience with Microsoft Silverlight and software development atop Unix would be very helpful
• Working knowledge in the development of multi-tier, multi-threaded database applications under MSSQL and/or Sybase would be a big advantage

Unix Engineer - Testing and Application Support

Job Description

Working in a sophisticated trading applications environment, you work will be focused on 2nd level support of a wide range of business critical business applications. To be successful in this role, you will need to have previous experience working in a systems/application testing environment and enjoy working in geographically disparate virtual teams. This position requires a high levels of flexibility, including willingness to work "on-call" or on a rotation basis as required (which includes shift work over a 24 hour period to support international operations).

Desired Profile

• Previous experience in a systems or applications test environment. Previous experience with testing methods, tools and environments would be an advantage.
• Practical application troubleshooting experience and ability is key. Experience of problem tracking and resolution in heterogeneous systems environments would be helpful
• Solid Unix skills including command-line and shell scripting would be very helpful.
• Any experience with Windows Servers will also be quite helpful
• Knowledge of SQL and potentially other scripting languages or shells will also be of value

Desired Profile

• Previous experience working in a financial services environment (preferably with equities technologies) would be very beneficial
• Solid hands-on application support experience (i.e. problem tracking and resolution in heterogeneous systems environments)
• Familiarity with back-office systems (ledgers, static data ect) as well as market data feeds would be advantageous
• Knowledge of SQL and potentially other programming/scripting languages or shells will  be of great value/benefit
• Excellent communication skills including fluency in English will enable optimal collaboration with your local and global team colleagues.
